The Xiaowan Hydropower Station is located in the middle reaches of the Lancang River at the junction of Nanjian County in Dali Prefecture and Fengqing County in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, with a distance of 455 kilometers from Kunming Highway. It is the second level of the "two reservoirs and eight levels" hydropower planning in the middle and lower reaches of the Lancang River. The upstream is the Gongguoqiao Hydropower Station, and the downstream is the Manwan Hydropower Station. Xiaowan Reservoir is the leading reservoir of cascade power stations, with a total storage capacity of about 15 billion cubic meters and a regulating capacity of nearly 10 billion cubic meters, with a multi-year regulating capacity. After the power station is put into operation, it can improve the regulation performance of the Lancang River main stream hydropower base and increase the proportion of guaranteed electricity for cascade power stations. The installed capacity of Xiaowan Hydropower Station is 4.2 million kilowatts, with a guaranteed output of 1.854 million kilowatts and an annual guaranteed power generation of 19 billion kilowatt hours. The total static investment of the power station is 22.331 billion yuan, and the planned total investment is 27.731 billion yuan. All 6 units were put into operation in August 2010.


Lancang River Xiaowan Hydropower Station


This project utilizes multiple products from Jiangsu Elecnova Electric Co., Ltd., including intelligent digital meters and intelligent power transmitters. The intelligent digital display meter is suitable for measuring parameters such as voltage, current, and power in distribution systems. This series of instruments has programmable conversion ratios and supports analog output and communication functions. The intelligent power transmitter is mainly used to isolate and output 1 or 2 analog signals or digital signals from signals such as current, voltage, and power. The application of Szfel products in this project provides strong guarantees for its safe production operations.
