From October 28th to 30th, the Nigeria Energy 2025 exhibition, West Africa's most influential energy event, was successfully held at the Landmark Centre in Lagos. The event gathered leading global energy companies and professionals, providing a vital platform to explore the future of energy in Nigeria and the wider West African region. Elecnova showcased its innovative products -- advanced energy storage solutions, demonstrating its technological prowess and commitment to supporting Africa's green energy transformation.
At the exhibition, Elecnova prominently featured its Solar Pro ECO-E100/120WP integrated solar and storage cabinet, which garnered significant attention for its highly integrated design and ease of installation. The product perfectly combines efficient photovoltaic modules with energy storage systems, addressing local challenges such as frequent power outages and unstable grids. It offers a reliable off-grid power solution for homes, shops, and small factories.
Also on display was the NovaStack ECO-E20FT2170LP-2 all-in-one container, designed to meet larger power demands. With a 2MWh capacity and 400V plug-and-play functionality, this solution provides stable power for industrial, commercial, remote community and large-scale project applications. It effectively addresses the issues of grid instability and power shortages that Nigeria faces.
Elecnova also introduced its advanced on-and-off-grid solutions, featuring Static Transfer Switch (STS) and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems. These technologies enable seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes, ensuring continuous power supply for critical loads. This feature is particularly crucial for facilities such as hospitals, factories, and communication towers that cannot afford power interruptions, helping to resolve Nigeria’s challenges with grid fluctuations and power outages.
Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation with over 220 million people, faces severe power supply shortages. In many regions, stable power is available for only 5-6 hours a day, and frequent national blackouts have a significant impact on business operations and everyday life. In response, the Nigerian government is actively driving an energy transition, aiming to source 30% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. The government is also supporting the growth of the renewable energy sector through tax reductions and lowered import duties on photovoltaic products.
During the exhibition, senior officials from the Nigerian Energy Commission visited the Elecnova booth to engage in in-depth discussions. They highly praised Elecnova's efforts in product localization, particularly highlighting the products' adaptations to the hot and dusty environmental conditions typical of West Africa. Officials also expressed strong support for Elecnova’s plans to establish a local service team.

Through its participation in the event, Elecnova further solidified its strategic presence in the West African energy market. With Nigeria and the broader African region increasingly in need of clean and reliable electricity, Elecnova's innovative energy storage solutions will play a crucial role in the region's energy transition and economic development.
Looking ahead, Elecnova remains committed to leveraging technological innovation and localized services to provide African customers with superior products and solutions. By doing so, the company will contribute to the region's clean energy development and the achievement of carbon neutrality goals.
